Airfox Tokenomics
Tokenomics is the economic model of a cryptocurrency-it describes how a token's supply is created, distributed, and used. The tokenomics of Airfox token (AFX) contains the following:
- Total Supply
- Circulating Supply
- Treasury Wallet (and other official wallets)
- Team Distributions
- Burn Events
Airfox Contract Addresses
AFX is the canonical token on Ethereum. On every other supported chain except Base and Polygon, AFX is the same token, "Airfox Token" (AFX), at one shared address. On Base and Polygon it appears as sAFX (SkyBridge AFX). Moving AFX between chains with SkyBridge keeps it backed 1:1 by the AFX held on Ethereum.

The older Robinhood Chain sAFX at 0x2E67f423F705E23d6cBFd745c121875DEB0f1508 is retired. If you still hold it, you can only send it back to Ethereum, where it arrives as AFX.
Total Supply
The Airfox token’s total supply is 10,000,000,000 AFX, which has been allocated as follows:
- 60% -- Initial Circulating Supply
- 35% -- Treasury Wallet
- 5% -- Team Distributions, unlocking 1% every 2 months (fully distributed)
To explain thoroughly, we'll explain each tranche (or portion) of the initial token distribution from start to finish in detail, starting with the circulating supply.
Circulating Supply
The initial circulating supply was provided to Uniswap, which currently holds the primary DEX pair for AFX (AFX/ETH).
The liquidity held in the trading pool is locked by UNCX for one year and is re-locked every year.

Team Distributions
Team distributions were reserved for rewarding the team that works on Airfox, and the tokens were distributed every 2 months, on the 13th of each month.
As of 13 May, 2024, Airfox team distributions have concluded, and there are no longer any outstanding team distribution events.

There is a total unlocking fee of 1.75m AFX for these distributions, and they were deducted from each distribution equally. The last team distribution took place on 13 May 2024.
Token Burn Mechanisms and Events
The $AFX token also has multiple burn mechanisms:
Token burns are a mechanism in which tokens are irretrievably destroyed, which reduces the total supply of tokens, thus increasing the price of the remaining circulating supply of tokens.
- Every time a player plays a game hosted on the Airfox Arcade
- Total market cap valuations (in USD) milestones being met ("Milestone Burn Events"), which may trigger token burn events
- We are currently exploring burns based on SkyBridge usage and liquidity provisions

The Milestone Burn Events are a set of 5 pre-determined burn events with the potential for more at the community's discretion. The table below shows the progress of the burn events:
